TREATS ON TREATS ON TREATS
The sun was shining in Seattle today, and the air is starting to feel different. It is my favorite time of year. You know what else is my favorite?
I. love. treats. So in honor of this beautiful, warm, almost-fall Seattle day, here are some of my favorite places in Seattle to treat yo self (or myself).
Rachel’s Ginger Beer
Now located in Pike Place Market, Capitol Hill AND University Village, this stuff is so refreshing and yummy. They have a whole list of different flavored ginger beer to pick from. You can even make it into a cocktail or add soft serve ice cream to make it a float. Have you ever been to another restaurant that is dedicated solely to amazing ginger beer? Me neither.
If you are within a block of a Molly Moon’s, you will most definitely be able to smell fresh waffle cones cooking. Molly Moon’s is known for having some unique ice cream flavors and for often having a line out the door. Ice cream is my favorite treat, and this stuff is the real deal.
You can find Bakery Nouveau on Capitol Hill and in West Seattle and it is a family favorite. Their pastries are out of this world. I am also a sucker for ham and cheese croissants and this bakery knows what’s up.
I have to say, I am not a huge donut person. But I love these doughnut. They are a little denser than your average doughnut, but different than cake. Not a huge cake fan. My favorite Mighty-O is a vanilla cake donut with chocolate glaze and nuts on top, the perfect Sunday morning treat.
There you have it, those are a few of my favorite things. Where are your favorite places in Seattle for some treats?
