Fall is officially in full force. When I walk out the door in the morning, it smells damp and feels cold. The bright changing colors of the leaves beautifully contrast the sometimes grey, sometimes blue fall sky. It is my favorite time of the year.

I have been trying to soak it all in as much as possible since next week I will be in Tampa for a work conference, whereΒ the weather is supposed to be in the high 80s and the forecast is full of independent sun icons. Time to run to Target to get some bug spray…

This weekend we checked outΒ Swans Trail FarmsΒ in Snohomish. It was so much more than your average pumpkin patch and would be really fun with kids. There were wagon rides, slides, farm animals, duck races, pig races and these weird jumping pillows that looked super fun. So many activities and of course farm animals!

Fall has always been my favorite time of the year, particularly the days where the sun is shining but the air is cold. I can’t think of a better weekend activity than taking a truck ride into Snohomish with a coffee in hand with my Beau, dreaming about our future tiny farm. Happy girl + happy fall!

Professional lover of stories, the harmonica, goats and burritos. Constantly daydreaming about living in the country, ice cream and decorating. Inspired by beautiful writing, the PNW, Beyonce and kindness. I'm guaranteed to have hearts in my eyes when the lighting is just right and am totally in love with my beau named Beau, who I found in the middle of fall, my favorite season. I sleep in my makeup, grew up on grunge music, embrace imperfection and am pretty excited about the gift of waking up every morning with choice to kick butt and love every minute of this wild ride.
